Dr Alvin Penalosa is a medical doctor registered under the UK General Medical Council and is a member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM). He has been working in the field of Aesthetic Medicine since 2013. Dr Alvin listens carefully to the aesthetic goals of the patient and discusses treatment options in line with these goals to enhance the patient’s features in an age- and ethnically-appropriate way.

Dr Alvin has a light touch. I like the fact that the treatments look and feel like tweaks for a better version of me. I didn’t want to to look completely different. I think we achieved exactly that. I say “we” because treatments with Dr Alvin feel like a collaboration. I try to communicate clearly what my concerns are, we discuss what is realistically achievable, and Dr Alvin seem to use both art and science to get to that goal.

Because I have never had Aesthetic treatments before, I was quite apprehensive at the start of my initial consultation. Dr Alvin made me feel right at ease and talked me through my concerns, treatment options, and process of treatment. As I do a lot of sports, I was afraid that there would be a long downtime after the treatment. In actual fact, most of the treatments/services that Dr Alvin offers has very little downtime if any. Such a good experience from start to finish. I am definitely coming back.
